Since its inception, Zenflow has always put the patient first. Founded out of the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, we are a passionate and innovative team that brings extensive experience from successful startups and leading multinational medical device corporations. We believe that staying focused on clinical needs from a patient perspective and challenging long-held industry assumptions will enable us to deliver superior results for men with BPH.

Shreya Mehta

Shreya Mehta

CEO & Founder

Shreya is a technical leader and innovator with over 15 years of experience in medical devices. In addition to technical development and leadership roles, Shreya has served as lead reviewer at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in cardiovascular devices. Shreya earned her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and was a Thomas Fogarty Fellow at the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign.

Ronald is an experienced executive who has spent more than 35 years in the medical device industry with a primary focus on interventional devices, structural heart repair, vessel closure, catheter-based imaging and implants/delivery systems. He has more than 135 US issued patents and pending applications and helped commercialize products in markets that have generated revenue in excess of a few billion dollars.

John Beck

CFO

John has over 30 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning and execution. He has worked with early-stage companies in life sciences (medical device and pharmaceutical), fabless semiconductor, software and software as a service, hardware systems, and services. He has held full-time CFO positions with both public and private companies and has been the interim or part-time CFO for many venture capital backed start-up and development stage companies. John earned his B.S. in Commerce with an Accounting emphasis, cum laude, from Santa Clara University.

Sierra Yearsley

SVP Clinical & Regulatory

Sierra is a seasoned clinical operations leader with over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. She has a broad range of experience leading clinical trial programs for Fortune 500 and startup companies across many therapeutic areas including urology, interventional cardiology, and orthopedics. Sierra holds a B.S. in Biology from University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.

Jamey Nielsen

VP R&D

Jamey has over 20 years of Research and Development experience in early-stage medical device companies. His career has focused on the development and commercialization of innovative therapeutic devices across a variety of medical specialties, including ENT, interventional spine, structural heart repair, and cardiac surgery. Jamey earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

CEO, Fogarty Institute for Innovation

Andrew is a seasoned executive with 30 years in the medical device industry in both the private and public-sectors. He is also currently Vice Chairman of The Foundry, the premier medical device incubator based in Menlo Park, California and serves as a Director for two venture-funded companies Zenflow, Inc. and Saluda Medical. He is also on the Advisory Boards of Longitude Capital and Arboretum Ventures.

Andrew began his career with the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration, progressed to large med tech companies in Telectronics Pacing Systems and Baxter Healthcare (BAX:NYSE), then onto the Silicon Valley start-up space working with Radiant Medical, Ardian and Twelve. He is also currently Vice Chairman of The Foundry, the premier medical device incubator based in Menlo Park, California and serves as a Director for two venture-funded companies nVision Medical and Saluda Medical.

Andrew has received numerous awards and honors, and is a frequent guest lecturer at Stanford University. He is passionate about healthcare and a champion of innovators and innovation in the med tech field.He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Biophysics) from the Swinburne Institute of Technology.
Susan Stimson

With over 25 years’ experience in healthcare, Susan is a proven leader in development and commercialization of new medical technologies. Her experience includes building Intersect ENT (NYSE:  XENT) from its foundation into a high growth public company and leading a variety of commercial and strategic functions in both large and start-up companies. Susan holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Bryan is a Partner at Invus Opportunities where he focuses on venture and growth equity investments in leading healthcare, technology and financial services companies. Bryan joined Invus Opportunities in 2011 from its sister firm, the Invus Group, which he joined in 2004. Previously, Bryan was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York. He received an AB in Computer Science from Harvard College.

Radu is a founder and the managing partner of Medical Technology Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on early stage technologies at the intersection of engineering, computation, and health. Previously, he was part of the executive team that took Gambro AB private, where he scaled the South East Asia and India operation, headed up strategic marketing and product development for the ICU business unit, and was head of strategy for the company. Prior to this, Radu worked in consulting, market research, and finance. He studied economics at Columbia University.
Robert Weisskoff

Robert Weisskoff, Ph.D

Partner, F-Prime Capital

Robert has worked extensively in healthcare for thirty years.  Prior to F-Prime, he held various senior roles in pharmaceutical and medical device companies and had been a professor at Harvard Medical School, where he worked at the intersection of basic research, medical technology development, and clinical research in a variety of areas.
Robert also serves on the Board of Directors of Adela, CORE Diagnostics, Farapulse, Plasmagen Biosciences, and ShouTi and has previously served on the boards of Affinia, Accuri Cytometers, Laurus Labs, ViewRay, Caribou Biosciences and Xilio Therapeutics.
